Who We Are

At the Extra Mile Non-Medical In-Home Care LLC, we believe care should be personal, compassionate, and rooted in dignity. Our mission is to help individuals remain safe, comfortable, and supported in the place they call home while maintaining the highest possible level of independence and quality of life.

Whether you or your loved one is recovering from surgery, managing chronic conditions, living with long-term disabilities, or simply needs extra support with daily life, our goal is to provide dependable care and peace of mind for both clients and their families.

Our Story & Our Why

The Extra Mile began with Dominique, Founder, whose vision and heart for serving others helped shape the foundation of this organization.

Dominique has always had a special connection with people of all ages, especially older adults. He sees the wisdom, life experience, and stories of seniors as treasures. He believes strongly that elders should be honored, listened to, and treated with deep respect — as individuals who paved the way for the people who came after them.

His goal in founding The Extra Mile was simple: to ensure that families can trust the people caring for their loved ones and feel confident that their loved one is treated with the same care and respect we would give our own family.

Dominique brings extensive hands-on experience to the work we do.

Dominique leads The Extra Mile with the belief that great care goes beyond tasks — it’s about building relationships and showing up for people during some of the most important seasons of life.

Michelle, Co-Founder, brings a deeply personal perspective to this work.

Michelle lost both of her parents in unexpectedly in their 50s. While she was already an adult, it was still far too soon to walk beside them through the later season in life and care for them in that sacred chapter.

The loss created a deep appreciation for how meaningful those years can be — a time when families slow down, reconnect, and care for one another in ways that become lasting memories. Because of this, Michelle believes deeply in protecting and honoring that sacred time in life for the families we serve.

Michelle’s experience supporting and advocating for a loved one with significant disabilities has also shaped the heart of tis work. Through that journey she has seen firsthand how vulnerable individuals can sometimes be misunderstood, overlooked, or separated from the people who love them most. That experience strengthened a deep commitment to dignity, advocacy, and person- centered care.

For us, caring for seniors, individuals living with disabilities, and those recovering from illness or injury is not just a service — it is an honor.
